How Masto Control uses browser storage, cookieless analytics, and consent-based analytics cookies.
Masto Control keeps tracking deliberately minimal. The public website does not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, heatmaps, session replay, or cross-site tracking tools. It uses one cookieless analytics tool by default, and one cookie-based analytics tool that only runs after you give consent.
The Masto Control application may use strictly necessary browser storage for account registration, login sessions, CSRF/security protection, checkout redirects, selected interface language, theme, and other product preferences. This storage is required for the service to work securely and reliably.
The public website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service. Plausible does not use cookies, localStorage, or persistent browser identifiers. It helps us understand aggregate website usage without identifying individual visitors. This runs regardless of your cookie consent choice, since it does not use cookies.
Plausible may show aggregated metrics such as page views, referral sources, UTM campaign parameters, country-level location, device type, browser, operating system, and visited pages. We use this information to understand which marketing channels and pages are working.
The public website also uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), which sets cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) to measure website usage in more detail. A consent banner appears on your first visit — GA4 only stores cookies and reports analytics data about you if you click "Accept." If you click "Reject," or take no action, GA4 loads in a cookieless, consent-denied state and does not identify you individually.
You can change your choice at any time using the "Manage cookie consent" button below. Data collected via GA4 (after consent) is processed by Google Ireland Limited under Google's standard data processing terms.
We do not currently load advertising pixels, remarketing tags, or third-party marketing cookies on the public website. If we add tools that require non-essential cookies or similar device storage, we will update this notice and request consent where required.
Paddle may use cookies during checkout and payment flows. Their use is governed by Paddle policies and happens when you start a checkout or payment-related action. Email tools may process delivery, open, or click metadata where this is enabled and described in our Privacy Policy.
You can delete or block cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent parts of the Masto Control application from working correctly.
